| Avista Utilities offers Buck-A-Block as an optional rate for customers choosing to support alternative renewable energy. Buck-A-Block is in addition to normal rates as the environmental offsets, or credits for emission-free generation, cost more. To participate in this voluntary program, tell us how many blocks you’d like to purchase. Each block currently costs just one dollar per month and guarantees 300 kWh of energy is generated from an environmentally preferred resource. Just one or two dollars a month helps offset environmental impacts and supports new renewable energy development. |

| Green Power Plus:
Promoting the Use of Renewable Energy in the Inland Northwest
We recently surveyed our membership and many indicated they would like the option of participating in a renewable energy program. As part of our commitment to our members, Inland Power & Light now invites you to participate in our Green Power Plus renewable energy offering. Through Inland's Green Power Plus program, our members are able purchase a 100 kilowatt-hour (kWh) block of wind powered generation for only $1.05 per block.

In addition to our Green Power Plus program, Inland also offers our members a "Net Metering and Renewable Incentive Payment Program".
